If you’ve been living on autopilot, these might hit harder than expected. I wrote them because they’re all true — for me.
🧍♂️ Freeze in Meetings — I froze in life → autoridad
Anxiety around people in power, especially when there’s a history of punishment or gaslighting.
Oops, forgot my spine.
🙃 Say Yes Too Fast — As a kid, I fawned as Margarita beat me → aprobación
People-pleasing, fawning, and chronic over-explaining when “No” would’ve been fine.
Now I hate Tuesday.
🧨 Call Chaos 'Normal' — Still addicted to excitement → desequilibrio
Normalizing toxicity or addiction because it feels familiar.
Looks fine to me!
🪦 Feel Powerless, Often — I didn’t know the difference between powerless and helpless → víctima
Feeling emotionally stuck or like life is happening *to* you.
Send snacks. I’m trapped.
🧺 Do Too Much — I’ll do it — and then hate myself later → responsabilidad
Taking on everyone’s emotional chores and calling it love.
I’ll mop your rage.
🚪 Feel Bad Setting Boundaries — That wasn’t in my bandwidth → culpa
Guilt for resting, saying no, or wanting more.
Sorry I exist…?
💔 Stay Out of Pity — I was the pitiful one → confusión
Staying because you “feel bad” for someone who drains you.
It’s not love, babe.
🤐 Swallow Feelings Whole — What feelings? → represión
Numbing, distracting, or performing instead of feeling.
Feelings? Never met ‘em.
👻 Fear Being Left — Left is mainly what I’ve known → abandono
Staying in harmful dynamics just to avoid being alone.
I’ll just disappear first.
💭 If this hit too close to home — you’re not broken. You’re becoming consciente (aware). Awareness is the exit.
🥣 Why it matters: Naming a patrón (pattern) gives it shape. Once we name it, we can change it. That’s power. 😌
📎 When it hits: Humor cracks open the heart. It lets us look at our historia (story) without turning away. 😅
🥣 How it heals: This is trauma literacy for the pueblo (people) — bite-sized, bilingual, and baked in lived truth. 🧠
📎 Who it’s for: The ones who thought they were just tired. Just mala suerte (bad luck). But really, they were surviving roles they never asked for. 😮💨
🧠 We don’t need to solve it today. But what might shift if we got a little more curiosos (curious)? 🤔
